Andrew Gurnell

GURNELL HARRISON LAW LTD

Andrew has 20 years' experience advising clients on a wide range of commercial legal matters. He worked for two large Hamilton law practices before establishing his own practice in 2008. He focuses on advising business clients and has particular experience advising the adventure tourism industry, and large scale farming clients. Andrew is married with three children. He was born and raised in the Waikato. The background knowledge of the regional issues, businesses, and politics gained as a result are invaluable in assisting clients with their legal needs. He is actively involved in coaching and refereeing his children’s sporting activities through the Te Rapa Rugby Sports Club. He also continues to play touch rugby, cricket, and tennis himself, albeit with less speed and agility these days.

Dan Harrison

GURNELL HARRISON LAW LTD

Dan advises clients on a broad range of property and commercial law matters. He is experienced in a wide range of trust law and private client matters, including estate planning, trusts, wills and powers of attorney. He worked for two prominent Hamilton law firms for 10 years prior to joining Andrew to form Gurnell Harrison Lawyers in 2013. Born and raised in Wellington, Dan graduated from the University of Waikato with Bachelor of Laws (1st class honours) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Chinese.

Sarah Ratcliffe

GURNELL HARRISON LAW LTD

Sarah has worked in the legal industry for over 13 years in various roles.  She has completed her Legal Executive Diploma and graduated in 2008.  She is also registered with the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.  Sarah specialises in residential conveyancing and refinancing and can also assist with the drafting of wills and powers of attorney.  Outside of work Sarah enjoys cooking, Zumba fitness and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Hayley Boud

GURNELL HARRISON LAW LTD

Hayley advises clients on a wide range of legal matters including property law, employment law, wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, residential conveyancing, and commercial transactions.  Having previously worked at another Hamilton law firm, Hayley joined Gurnell Harrison Lawyers in February 2016.  She completed her Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Laws (1st class honours) at the University of Waikato.  She also has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology and worked for 13 years in the field of science gaining international accreditation.  In her spare time, Hayley enjoys walking along the Waikato River with  her dog.
